When the U.S. Supreme Court handed out its ruling the Arizona immigration law, Evren Senol, a naturalized U.S. citizen originally from Cyprus now living in the St. Louis area, said he was surprised and that laws like the one Arizona and other states have enacted are shortsighted. As partners manager she leads our training and support team. This means she ensures that partner journalists learn best practices and deploy PIN effectively, recruits and brings on new news organizations, represents users in the PIN tools development process, leads evaluation efforts, and develops academic partnerships and course modules.

Her background is in anthropology, and she has produced for WGBH, PRI's The World, and freelance. She first worked with PIN at Marketplace as a PIN analyst for four years. She is degreed from Tufts and MIT.
