PINcast Episode 5: What to do about liars

Anna Weggel
Analyst
Public Insight Network

In today’s episode of PINcast, we discuss what happens when a person answers a newsroom’s questions with false information.

Linda Lockhart, from the St. Louis Beacon, tells us about a near miss with a source who was pretending to be a local journalist  – he even went as far as submitting false photos of himself.

Then Joellen Easton, from our own PIN team, tells us how PIN tools can help prevent and reveal liars — and just how often this type of thing happens.

Thanks for giving Episode 5 a listen! Stay tuned for more episodes in the coming weeks.
