In case you missed it, we have archived our December 2011 webinar on Local Journalism Centers' web metrics, hosted by the Public Insight Network and Mark Fuerst from Public Media Metrics (PMM).

We were fortunate to have strong attendance, with representatives from LJCs spanning the country. Several shared traffic success stories, as well as pain points as the LJCs work inside their own parent stations and with other partner stations.

If you're still wondering what PMM is, Fuerst describes its mission to "[magnify] the usefulness Google Analytics for a specific community of users, namely public broadcasters.  PMM software monitors and analyzes the GA data at more than a hundred client sites," which is then used "to generate trends, benchmarks, and best practice recommendations."

Putting the data together provides a larger, more comprehensive picture of traffic patterns across the Local Journalism Center experiments.
