Tonight, Lance Armstrong will reportedly admit to Oprah Winfrey - and the rest of the world - that he used performance enhancing drugs during his storied career as a cyclist.
Armstrong may be the highest profile athlete to fess up to illegally gaming the system, but he's certainly not the first. The immense pressure to perform has sent athletes from high school to the pros searching for ways to achieve that extra edge, even if it means bending or breaking the rules.
As an athlete, have you felt pressure to enhance your performance in any way? As a coach or parent of an athlete, what kinds of pressure to perform do young people face? Share your story here.
We may include your insights in our upcoming stories or contact you to find out more. But your information will remain completely confidential unless you explicitly give us permission on the form to share your insights. Thanks for your time.

Which of the following best describes your connection to athletics?
*
Now please give us a little more detail - with which sports do you or your loved one have experience and at what level?
Have you ever felt pressure to enhance your performance in any way? If so, how? If you are a coach or a parent of an athlete, what kinds of pressures have you observed?
In light of news about performance enhancing drugs and the serious consequences of repeated head injuries in contact sports, have your views regarding professional sports changed? If so, how?
Have recent news events shaped how you approach your own participation in athletics? If you're a parent, have they shaped how you want your kids to approach sports?
What else should we know that would make our understanding of this topic more complete?
If you have an original photo that helps illustrate what you described above, or just of yourself, please upload it here. (No larger than 10MB, please.)
Tell us a little about the photo: name(s), date, location, and the story behind it.
May we publish your insights (and any uploaded files) and attribute them to you? Your comments may be edited for length or clarity. If you choose "no", or "contact me first", your comments will of course be completely confidential.
