What influences your food choices the most?

While you might think you make about 15 food-related decisions daily, studies show that that number is more than 200!

Does Michelle Obama, with her "Let's Move" campaign and involvement with MyPlate, inspire you to lead a healthier life and choose more nutritious foods? Or are you motivated by research data, like the recent announcement that following a Mediterranean diet wards off heart attacks and strokes? Maybe you're primarily influenced by what's affordable and available where you live.

We want to know what guides your diet choices and how those decisions make you think about yourself. We'll use the responses we receive to help us report on the biggest influences on Americans' food choices.

Here's a set of questions we have about food choices and body image. Your responses will remain private unless you give us permission to publish them, and a reporter will follow up with you if we want to learn more.
