So maybe you don't have the Hubble Telescope at your beck and call. But, you've got an SLR, a fancy lens, and a tripod, and you've captured your own images of the red planet. Or, maybe Mars has inspired you to poetry or song... or film, or sculpture, or cartoon.

Whatever your medium, we'd love to see -- or hear -- your work.

Part of our work these days, here at the Public Insight Network and at Minnesota Public Radio, is learning about Mars -- the science, the pop culture, and the art. Last year, the Mars rover Curiosity captivated the world when it made a safe landing 154 million miles away. And we want to know what Mars has inspired in you.

We will post our favorite art and written pieces, as they come in, on our new Mars Tumblr page. We will credit you with your full name and location, and include a link to where people can find you online.
