Did you know that September 17 is National Constitution Day? In honor of this day, we at Twin Cities Public Television (tpt) want to know: What does the Constitution mean to you? The catch - we want to know how you'd describe the Constitution...in FIVE WORDS!

Why is tpt so interested in the Constitution?

Answer: tpt National Productions is producing a new four-part documentary series called Constitution USA with Peter Sagal, coming spring 2013 to PBS stations nationwide. Sagal, host of NPR's "Wait, Wait...Don't Tell Me," provides an exclusive preview of the series here.

The Constitution's stregnth lies in the ongoing arguments about its meaning, as much as what's in the original text. We want to include your voice in the discussion! Starting with this question, we'll ask a Constitution-related question each month until the production premieres and responses may be featured on a production website for this project. Interested?
