Marijuana Dispensaries Near Schools: How Are You Affected?

The U.S. Attorney in Colorado is cracking down on medical marijuana dispensaries near schools. A recent letter to 23 dispensary locations ordered owners to close shop or face federal charges for operating too close to schools (within 1,000 feet). And to support the mandate, the government points to data showing increased marijuana abuse among school-aged children, though it's still unclear whether the rise is related to the proximity of dispensaries to schools.
