How is the drought affecting you?

Extreme heat and drought has settled in and appears to be sticking around for the summer here in the Midwest. Already, many farmers have given up on their hopes that this year would produce the largest corn crop in generations. And beef producers are selling off their herds at record numbers, desperate for feed and water. We're looking for farmers and ranchers who are dealing with this drought for a story set to air on NPR. What's your experience in dealing with this drought? Were you around in 1988, the last record-breaking year? We'd love to hear from you.
