Are you voting early?

Early voting has been significantly increasing from one presidential election to the next. This NPR blog post shows that from the 2000 presidential election to the 2008 election, the percentage of early votes cast nationwide doubled.

This upward trend is no different in Harris County. Harris County officials expect as many as 750,000 people will vote early this upcoming election. That's an increase from 2008.

Given that more and more people are casting early ballots, here at KUHF News we're wondering if early voters are working with the same set of facts as those voting on election day. KUHF News is planning to do stories on early voting. Since early voting in Texas begins October 22nd, a quick response would be appreciated.
