Can you see climate change in South Florida?

Signs of climate change abound here in South Florida. Waves have ripped up sidewalks and roadway along A1A in Fort Lauderdale. Miami Beach and other coastal communities must constantly restore eroding beaches and are dealing with drainage systems compromised by rising sea levels.

To discuss how to mitigate the effects of climate change, the Southeast Florida Climate Leadership Summit, organized by the Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Monroe counties, will convene next week in Palm Beach.

How has climate change affected your community? Tell us and be part of a conversation this Friday on WLRN Radio's The Florida Roundup.
