Why are American businesses looking outside the U.S. for employees? U.S. businesses often look to other countries to fill important positions. Some companies even have a specific staff position for just this purpose called an international talent acquisition lead.
There are many reasons businesses go outside the U.S. to recruit employees. These employees may speak languages an employer needs, or they may have excellent knowledge of markets, business practices and cultures outside the U.S. But with the current unemployment situation in the U.S. and the many highly skilled Americans looking for jobs, why are businesses still looking outside the U.S. to hire employees?
KETC/Channel 9 and the St. Louis Beacon want to learn what you know about businesses that recruit people from overseas. Please share your insights by answering the questions below.
