Where do you go for fun in the fall?

Where do you go for fun in the fall?

Many of us know about such places as Ste. Genevieve, Mo., and the surrounding wineries, or Pere Marquette State Park in Illinois. Those are fun places to go almost any time of year, but can be especially enjoyable as the late summer days start to turn cooler and our thoughts shift toward autumn. The changes of the colors in the trees and a fear of the cold, rainy days ahead make us want to get out and about a few more times.

The St. Louis Beacon and KETC want to hear from you about your special places to go, and things to do in the fall. Tell us about fun day trips or overnighters that speak specifically about fall. Maybe it's antiquing or horseback riding, or something really unique. We hope to profile some of the lesser-known gems in stories in the coming weeks. Please respond to the questions below and tell us: What's your favorite fall getaway?
