Kojo Nnamdi Show Is Looking For Global Communities Around D.C.

In a city of embassies, NGOs, and global financial institutions, almost any international story has a local hook in Washington. But the international flavor of Washington and the surrounding suburbs also comes through in subtle and surprising ways: a weekly pick-up cricket game on the Mall, a Bolivian dance troupe, a church that conducts services in three languages, or an Ethiopian restaurant that serves as a local cultural or economic hub.

WAMU's Kojo Nnamdi Show is looking for interesting stories about immigrants, expatriates and other international communities in and around the District. If you know of one, please fill out the form below. Or you can contact us directly at insight@wamu.org.
