Help us cover the 2010 election

Mecklenburg voters will cast ballots in a number of important races in November, including weighing in for U.S. senator, Mecklenburg district attorney and a slate of county commission seats.

We're looking for people from all walks of life and all points of view to help us define and cover the issues.

Here's how it will work: once a week or so, you will get a survey from the Observer about the election. For example, we may want to know what questions you think we should ask candidates. Your name and photo may run in the paper.

We plan to offer in-depth coverage on the election at every step and your insights can help us write great stories.
