Do you have memories of Hanford?
OPB's Oregon Experience is working on a program about the story of the nuclear reactor in Hanford from its beginnings in WWII through its expansion during the Cold War.
Plutonium from the site was used to make the first nuclear bomb and today it is the most contaminated nuclear site in the country.
Do you have experience with Hanford? Did you or your family members work there? Have you lived nearby? What memories and associations do you have of the plant?
Are you unemployed? How does your age affect your job hunt?
Do you fish for smelt in Oregon?
Do you have stories about working on the homefront during World War II?
