What would a new park in your neighborhood mean to you?
Portland Parks and Rec has plans to develop at least one new park in Portland. Commissioner Amanda Fritz has not yet announced where those parks will be, but there's a good chance that at least one of those parks will be in outer east Portland. The area is lacking in parks and green spaces -- just 15 percent of Portland's parks are east of 82nd Avenue.
