Will women change the front lines?

By Jeff Jones | Jan. 24, 2013 | 73 Submissions

As you've probably heard, the Pentagon announced this week that women will soon be officially allowed to serve in combat roles, a move that could open up front-line positions and potentially elite jobs that have been, before now, out of reach for generations of female service members.

We've been talking to a lot of veterans and their families lately, and today we need your insight about the impact of this decision on members of the military and our larger military efforts. How do you think having more women on the front lines will affect those units? And, by the way, what does it even mean to be on "the front lines" in this modern era of warfare? Please share your insight here.
