Have You Seen Firsthand Evidence of Climate Change?
KPBS wants to hear about the climate in your backyard. Have you experienced changes over time in the environment around you?
Whether it's changes in plants, trees or wildlife, new insects in your garden, different weather patterns, or something else entirely, we want to know what you've observed and how these changes have impacted your life, regardless of what might be causing them. We're particularly interested in changes you've seen in your area over an extended period of time. Are you seeing evidence of climate change at home (water levels, growing seasons, animal migration) or at work (changing business risks, new costs)?
Here are the ways we are planning to use your insights and why we're reaching out to you for your particular insight:
How has climate change affected you or your community? Be a part of this story by telling us below.
Are you worried about climate change or not? Are you concerned about water availability? Wildlife impacts? Do you think sea level rise or ocean acidification are major concerns? Or do you think that climate change concerns are overblown?
