Disabled troops returning from combat face an unexpected battle: the Department of Veterans Affairs' growing stack of disability benefit claims. In an ongoing series of stories for the Center for Investigative Reporting, reporter Aaron Glantz has been highlighting how the delays have impacted veterans who have often waited six months or more for the VA to rule on their claim.
