South Florida isn't as integrated as you may think. A map of the U.S. by the Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service depicts the racial make-up of communities (but distinguishing Hispanics) according to the latest Census data. When you hover over Miami, Broward and Palm Beach counties on the map, many areas are segregated -- a counterweight to the "melting pot" many residents boast about. Below is a picture from the map that shows parts of Miami and Miami Beach.
