Caring for aging parents: How do you navigate family dynamics?
Sometimes family dynamics can make a difficult health care situation even more challenging. It is especially true when an elderly loved one is ill and one family member, who lives out of town, wants to make different decisions than the family members who live closer. At a time when families should be pulling together, relationships can be torn apart for years. Twin Cities Public Television (tpt) wants to hear your stories about dealing with family frictions. What happened? Did you and your family reach a consensus and overcome the tension? We'd love to share your experience and advice with people who are looking for guidance with their own families. The conflict can be long gone or very fresh. It could be resolved or still ongoing. We're interested in including families of all shapes and sizes.
