Are you choosing to live solo?
A recent book details how more people than ever are choosing to live alone: one in four households now consist of a single person. This runs counter to the trend of recession-smashed citizens who are moving back in with their parents or tripling up in apartments.
The author of Going Solo, sociology professor Eric Klinenberg, writes of "an incredible social experiment" that reveals "the human species is developing new ways to live." Klinenberg says there are risks to this "Secret Single Behavior," as a New York Times put it.
The Public Insight Network would like to use your shared experiences to gain a deeper understanding of the trend.
