Election 2012: Your Voting Story
Sure. An election cycle almost over.
But in the last few hours before the polls close and the ballots are counted, the ground game for both campaigns is for turnout -- an unpredictable variable that's affected by weather, lines and a handful of other possibilities depending on your neighborhood or county.
And while most of us in the newsroom will cover Election Day and night into the small hours of Wednesday morning, we're still only in Washington. So, we're asking for your help. Tell us your voting story. Whether you live in Trumbull County, lower Manhattan, Grand Rapids or somewhere else, help us with our reporting.
Take a photo at your polling location and describe the scene. Is it raining? How long is the wait? Where's the closest campaign sign? And, how does your experience fare compared to previous elections?
How do you feel about needle exchanges and other harm reduction programs?
What do you know more about than most people you know?
Has your military service influenced your creative expression?
