For the first time, more than half of the students in Miami-Dade County choose where they get an education -- whether it's a magnet school, advanced curriculum program or charter school.
The district is offering 52 new choice programs this school year alone, in part to compete with charter schools. With plenty of options, Miami Herald reporters want to talk to parents about their decision where to enroll their children.
