Say a story in 6 words

By Stefania Ferro | Jul. 24, 2014 | 1189 Submissions

The 2014 Miami Book Fair, in collaboration with WLRN and the Miami Herald, encourages you to share a story about South Florida in six words.

Your six-word story could get you invited to read at the 2014 Miami Book Fair. It might even be selected as one of the six stories published in a limited-edition postcard set. Also, it could get published and heard on WLRN 91.3 FM.

How to enter: submit your words in the form below. You can also share it on Twitter and Facebook using #6wordsMiami and by emailing 6wordsMiami@gmail.com.

As you're thinking of your story, consider this.

WLRN is looking for stories about the humidity here, our mango season, and how you're so South Florida. We'll be publishing the best entries from those categories in the coming months.

Do you have a story that can be written in six words? Write it below for a chance to read it at the 2014 Miami Book Fair in November and a chance to see it on WLRN.org.
