Is your college charging credit card fees?

California Watch

In another example of universities passing costs along to students during a budget crunch, this fall the University of California Los Angeles will start charging a 2.75 percent processing fee when students use their credit cards to pay for tuition, parking permits, vanpool charges and housing costs. Students can still pay with cash, check or direct deposit without incurring the fee, and university officials say UCLA is "one of the last universities nationwide that still pays credit card processing." Nevertheless, this made us wonder: If you're a student, how do you pay your fees? And are you aware of these charges?
