The lack of connection between areas of Phoenix is perhaps most obvious when it comes to transportation. The Western city limits of Phoenix are over 15 miles away from the center of the city. Those who live in select areas can ride the light rail, but folks in the West Valley may feel more limited by their transportation choices.
